Yaralla Rover Crew is the newest addition to Sydney North Region, but with a long history.
Situated at the southern end of the Ryde bridge on the Parramatta River, we are a small Crew looking to build our numbers.
We are interested in activities at all levels, from Crew-specific to Regional, national and even international events. As a Crew we enjoy going to Moots, running our own variety of Crew nights, and giving back to the community. Due to our location right on the river, when the weather warms up we enjoy going out on the water for some boating activities and fun.
Feel free to come along, ask questions and try out our exciting program with new activities every week.
"In Search of Quality Pain"......
Turramurra Rovers is one of the strongest and most active Crews around, with a long history stretching way back to 1932. The Crew aims to have a balanced program, which includes physical, spiritual, intellectual, service and of course social activities. We are always keen to do new and different things and are always on the hunt for fresh ideas.
As Rovers, we often do service in the local community, as well as getting involved in projects further afield.
We're a very large and friendly Crew with over 40 members, who come from many different backgrounds.
We meet every Sunday night to plan and participate in activities such as indoor climbing, SCUBA beginners' nights, geocaching and lots of other fun stuff including some awesome weekends away... climbing, canyoning, caving, hiking, 4WDing or just camping... you name it, we'll try it!
Everyone is welcome, so hope to see you soon!

1st Collaroy Plateau/2nd Narrabeen Rover Crew - commonly known as Platabeen Rovers - are a group based on the beautiful banks of Narrabeen Lakes on the Northern Beaches and also extremely close to Narrabeen Beach.
Our Crew has a love for camping and the outdoors and we do many activities around our area. Some of our favourite activities include night hikes, fishing, canoeing and camping. We also very much enjoy our hall nights with nights such as bushcraft, DIY and our highly competitive yearly mystery ingredient cooking night.
Our Crew also enjoys service activities such as helping out at Ingleside Scout Camp.
Normanhurst Rover Crew has a history spanning more than 30 years, and is currently growing again. The Crew has over 30 active members which means that we all participate fairly evenly in organising Crew activities, and can cater for a wide variety of interests.
Recent activities include Australia Day BBQ, iceblocking, going to the driving range, trivia, weekend rafting trips, rockcraft activities, and hiking. We also run the annual Normo Magical Mystery Tour car rally every September. As a more social Crew we're attending more and more Region events each year, and have had a strong presence in Hornsby Gang Show for many years.
Normo has something for everyone and everything for someone... like you.
As a member of our Crew you will no longer have nothing to do on a Monday night!
We annually attend Dragon Skin and go to as many Moots as we can. We have strong links to Hornsby Gang Show.
On Monday nights you might find us playing Laser Tag around the hall, rock climbing, bowling, or maybe even down at the local for a game of pool.
As a Crew we challenge each other to get the most out of what Rovers has to offer.
If you want to test yourself and confront new and challenging activities, don’t be shy... contact us!

Lindfield is a growing Rover Crew who meets regularly and has strong links with a large Scout Group. Our Crew is made up of 18 to 25 year old members who enjoy the outdoors and physical challenges as well as social activities.
Our members have many interests including rock climbing, hiking, sailing, 4WDing and mountain biking. We are always willing to try out something new so any individual interests are welcome.
We take part in a large amount of service activities every year, which benefit community organisations as well as our associated Scout Group, where we help with activities and fundraising. In addition we raise funds to enable the Crew to go on at least one major trip every year. In early 2010, we took a trip to New Zealand and walked the Milford Sound Track. In 2011 we rode postie bikes to Cape York, raising funds for the Jane McGrath Foundation. In 2015, we hiked the Larapinta Trail in the Northern Territory.
We are a friendly Crew and anyone is welcome to come along to one of our meetings or activities. Feel free to contact us using the details listed below.
"You don't make friends with salad"
Kissing Point is a Crew with a huge range of interests both outdoors and indoors. Some of our members' cross-country skiing addiction has spread throughout the Crew and you'll find lots of us out in the back country each winter. Those who aren't hitting the slopes may prefer to be tackling the cliffs, abseiling around Sydney's northern suburbs and beaches, canyoning when the weather's good, or caving. When we're up for a quiet night we do indoor rock climbing, amateur movie making, or just head to the nearest oval or beach with a frisbee or soccer ball.
No matter where we are, we always cook and eat great food, after all you can't tackle mountains or the beach on an empty stomach! A spit roast accompanies many of our adventures.
With around a dozen enthusiastic members, we are able to attend all the major Rover events including Roventure, Moots and Dragon Skin. We've got a great mix of male and female members of all ages from 18 to 25.
Kissing Point Rovers aim to partake in a major travel event every few years, previous exotic destinations have included backpacking around Thailand, remote camping on tropical Masthead Island in Queensland and a month tripping around Vietnam. Most recently, we did a three week trip to New Zealand in January 2019.
Kananga Rover Crew was re-opened in 2012 by a bunch of enthusiastic young men and women who attend Region events, state events and do service whenever they can.
We experience a wide range of activities varying from movie nights to rock climbing to white water kayaking to construction challenges. Kananga Rover Crew tries anything and everything and if you love to get outdoors and go camping then you will love Kananga Rovers.
Just contact us and join us on our next activity!
What do you get if you fill your spare time with fun, the unknown and downright extreme... Gordon Rover Crew!
(2nd) Gordon Rover Crew re-opened in late 2010 with a bang! Keeping as active as possible, we try to fill our spare time with a taste of the extreme, frequently abseiling of cliffs and bridges, caving, rock climbing, white water kayaking and a whole heap of other cool stuff. We have recently been canyoning in the Blue Mountains (with a side of four wheel driving), rock climbing and making water slides out of football grounds as much as we can!
Sounds good? Contact us and arrange to drop in to one of our meetings!
